2017 - LABSOLDA work is awarded second place at the 1st SAMEC Scientific Papers Exhibition

The 1st SAMEC Scientific Papers Exhibition was held during the 2nd EMC-UFSC Mechanical Engineering Academic Week, taking place from May 8 to 12. The event aimed to encourage and disseminate scientific production within the department in the field of Mechanical Engineering and allow participants to learn about the research being developed in laboratories and research groups.

Initially, the submitted works were presented as posters; then, the best from the Undergraduate and Graduate categories were selected for oral presentations lasting up to 30 minutes.

Thus, the work by Luiz Eduardo Paes entitled “Orbital TIG Welding – Dynamic Wire Feeding Technique Aiming at Productivity Increase” received second place in the Graduate category.
