Syllabus

The TIG process with cold and hot wire addition and pulling and pushing techniques. The TIG process with constricted arc and comparisons with the plasma process. The TIG process with multiple electrodes. The versions of the TIG process with wire pulsation (TIP TIG) and with tangential wire injection (TOP TIG).

Program

TIG process with wire addition, pulling and pushing techniques – 4 hours
TIG process with hot wire, different techniques, practical experiments – 6 hours
TIG process with high arc concentration and comparison with plasma, practical experiments – 6 hours
TIG process with double electrode, practical experiments – 4 hours
TIP TIG process – 8 hours
TOP TIG process – 2 hours

Assessment Method

  • Final Exam, intermediate quizzes, and practical activity reports.
