Syllabus

The conventional and pulsed MIG/MAG process with various principles and synergistic and adaptive control. Influence of electrode diameter, factors affecting weld geometry. Modern versions of the MIG/MAG welding process in short-circuit metal transfer (STT, CCC, CMT,...) and free-flight (RapidArc, PCS,..). Orbital MIG/MAG welding for root and fill passes. Orbital TIG welding with open and closed chamber.

Program

Reasons for using pulsed MIG/MAG – 2 hours
Fundamentals and calculation of welding variables in pulsed current, practical experiments – 4 hours
Adaptive pulsed system, practical experiments – 4 hours
STT, CCC, and CMT MIG/MAG versions, practical experiments – 6 hours
MIG/MAG version with alternating current, practical experiments – 4 hours
Orbital MIG/MAG welding in root passes, practical experiments – 6 hours
Orbital TIG welding in root passes – 4 hours
